Helix Aspersa Muller – 10 days juveniles
In this article, a few words about juveniles – 10-days snails after hatching from eggs. Well, small snails are hatching from eggs made by adult snails and after a few or a dozen or so days small ones are hatching out of them. Such small snails are stored at room temperature and can easily be kept for a dozen or so days in breathable and moistened containers with soil (acid soil!) And then transported to the grower, who will release them directly into the prepared breeding park. How and when is it done? We simply place open containers with snails evenly on the field so as not to squeeze the snails in one place – and then the small snails will come out of the containers themselves, start to roam the field and grow in the blink of an eye 🙂 In Polish conditions it is done in May, in the warmer climate in April.
